Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was great overall. The rooms were mostly clean, though there were some minor issues like hairs in the tub/shower and a visible toilet ring. The bathroom door seemed to have had a repair with staples, but it didn't bother me much. The service was excellent and very informative, although they could have given us notice before our arrival. The location was perfect for traveling into Dayton and nearby restaurants were convenient. The dining experience exceeded my expectations, and the breakfast was fabulous. The facilities were satisfactory, and I had a comfortable stay despite some small room maintenance issues.
The hotel is a convenient spot for crafts and lip-sync with a fellow CT Team, although it's inconveniently situated down a long hall. The rooms, overall clean, had minor issues like some stray hairs in the tub/shower and a visible toilet ring, but nothing too off-putting. The service, managed by a DJ who pretended to be the manager, had its ups and downs, including a midnight rate fix but a challenging check-in process with the hotel clerk. The location by the Memorial Day tornado in Trotwood posed concerns but was ideal for airport and city access. The dining experience, while delicious, had its hiccups like overpriced drinks and limited options, handled well by Malinda at the front desk. Facilities did the job. The value for money is a bit questionable given the mixed bag of experiences.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were pretty clean and seemed to have had a recent renovation, but I was disappointed to find no sheets for the pullout sofa and limited towels provided. The bathroom had some black mold and needed updating, giving off a mildew-like smell. On the bright side, the staff was very sweet and friendly, although there was a mix-up with my room reservation attributed to an act of God according to them. The location was awesome, near my venue and easy to access, though I struggled with the wifi connectivity. The dining experience was strongly decent, with a good variety of breakfast options. Overall, some aspects needed improvement, but there were positives too.
